Preparing students for doctoral studies

Eligibility Criteria

Check Your Eligibility

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  2. Must be a first-generation college student[1] ­and from a low-income household[2] OR must be from a group that is underrepresented in graduate education.[3]
  3. Must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate in a degree-seeking program at Cal Lutheran.
  4. Must have completed 60 college credits by the end of Spring 2025.
  5. Must not be graduating before May 2025.
  6. Must have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  7. Must be planning to enroll in graduate school upon graduating from Cal Lutheran.
  8. Must have a strong desire to attain a doctoral degree
  9. Must agree to participate in all required program components.

We welcome Sophmores and Juniors from all undergraduate majors to apply.  Our first deadline is October 4, 2024 and our final Fall deadline is October 25, 2024.
