Idea2Do Demo Day

On December 9, Hub101 held its annual Demo Day for the graduating class of our Idea2Program. Six founders presented their startups to a standing room-only crowd of attendees: BIOvRX (a precision-health platform using multi-omics and personalized data to predict and prevent disease, started by Jayson Durham, a current student in the EMBA program), Career Compass (a values-based career platform helping Gen Z job seekers and employers find meaningful alignment, started by Khasanjon Bobokhojaev, a current undergraduate student in the SOM), Excelencia Tutoring 805 (a  bilingual tutoring service supporting English language learners and first-generation students, founded by Abigail Espinoza, a Cal Lutheran alumna), Paw Priority (a reliable, customer-first pet waste removal service that keeps yards clean and homes stress-free, started by Nancy Rios, alumna of the CLU DREAM Building Entrepreneurship Program), Triplete (helping college sports fans travel like locals with simplified planning and curated game-day experiences, founded by Chad Ortega, a Cal Lutheran MBA alumnus), and UpPup (a sustainable dog-treat company turning imperfect farm produce into healthy, eco-friendly pet snacks, started our own Rosie Baker, SOM Communications Manager and CLU double alumna). Gratitude for the design and delivery of the program, but also the highly successful Demo Day go to Kristin Bell!
