Recent Announcements
- August 7, 2024: The Department of Education (DOE) will release the 2025-26 FAFSA for testing with a limited set of students and institutions starting on October 1st, 2024. The DOE plans to make the 2025-26 FAFSA available to all students on or before December 1st, 2024.
- June 13, 2024: View Updated instructions on how to submit the 2024-25 FAFSA for students and contributors without a Social Security Number.
- June 1, 2024: The 2024-25 FAFSA has been streamlined and redesigned. We recommend to review the changes along with other tips to succesfully complete the FAFSA.

What to Expect After Completing Your FAFSA
- Please allow 3-5 business days for your FAFSA to be transferred to Cal Lutheran.
- You will receive an email confirmation from Cal Lutheran that your FAFSA has been
received.
- If more than 3-5 business days have passed, feel free to contact our office for a status update.
- After your FAFSA has been received, review your checklist on myCLU self-service and verify that you do not have any missing verification items available to complete.

- Newly Admitted & Transfer Students
- Cal Lutheran is releasing offers to new undergraduate admits with completed FAFSA's.
