About

Jenna is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California.  Her experience has been diverse, working as a therapist, supervisor, and manager in a variety of settings including residential, community mental health, home-based, school-based and private practice. As a therapist she has provided services to a diverse group of clients coming from many different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds, with a special interest in family therapy and applying a systemic framework to her work with children and teens.  In addition to working as a therapist, she has served as an assessment specialist, serving adults and children in government assistance and child welfare programs with the intent of identifying and removing social, emotional, relational, and addiction issues preventing them from maintaining family and individual safety, health, and self-sufficiency. She has also served as a manager and supervisor in multiple non-profit and community counseling organizations.

Currently at CLU she teaches a variety of courses and supervises in the CLU Counseling clinic at the Oxnard Center.  She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.  Most recently, outside of CLU, she has worked as a clinician at a C3 start up company called Two Chairs, serving clients via tele-health. Her professional and clinical interests are clinical supervision, systems theory with a focus on an integrative approach, family therapy, and mindfulness based approaches to anxiety and depression.  In her free time she enjoys painting, being active outdoors, and spending time with her family, husband and her two beautiful children.
