Christmas Concerts

Welcome the holiday season with Glory in the Highest, Cal Lutheran’s cherished Christmas celebration. The university’s choral ensembles and string symphony join forces for a festive evening of music, featuring luminous works by Peter Anglea, Eric Whitacre and others, along with beloved carols such as "Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming" and "Sing We Now of Christmas." The program will include organ selections and opportunities for the audience to sing along with favorite hymns of the season.

Under the direction of Franco Basili, DMA, assistant professor of music and choir director, the Cal Lutheran choirs continue the university’s longstanding legacy of inspiring Christmas performances. As always, the concert promises a joyful blend of tradition and discovery — a musical gift to lift your spirit and warm your heart.

Tickets are $15 or free with Cal Lutheran ID, and all tickets must be purchased in advance. Faculty, staff and students may reserve one complimentary ticket by completing the online form. Tickets can be purchased on the website.
